Read in CORDIS: Recently started ENABLE-project aims to develop a system that offers services for elderly persons with the help of a mobile phone. The system will be based on distributed open platform that enables third party contributions. Some of the offered services include (detailed list in the project fact sheet):

- use of the phone
- health condition monitoring
- raising the alarm in emergency
- labelling medicine and checking that it is taken
- turning things on and off around the house
