Objetives
- To develop cooperation between the University of Zaragoza and EIGO, favouring the creation of new knowledge in the digital sector and promoting the dissemination of all aspects of common interest.
- To generate advanced research in digital construction, enabling the appropriate evolution and integration of the academic and business world.
- To develop a practical training policy for university students and professionals in the business sector.
Develop the integration of the different dimensions of digital construction from a virtual model:
- Geometric
- Coordination
- Approval flows
- Technical (calculation, units, materials, equipment)
- Financial
- Productivity (Earned Value Analysis)
- Production (augmented reality)
Digital Construction uses commonly used tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Presto, Primavera, MS Project, etc.) that can be integrated into BIM (Building Information Management) dynamically (changes over time).
Perspectives
- Support and encourage research work:
- Integrate a 3D application (ie AutoCAD, Revit) with Presto (generation of a database that integrates the geometric information of the model with information from Presto and MS Project) and MS Project (assignment of task, resource and milestone information to elements of the 3D model and generation of a visual planning model, in nwd or interchangeable ifc format).
- Develop a methodology to integrate a 3D virtual model with cost control (Presto) and planning tools (MS Project).
- Develop a methodology to integrate a 3D virtual model with a collaboration platform (IM - Information Management), associating approval flows and technical sheets.
- Organising outreach activities
