Research contract N4 or N3 in the creation of virtual laboratories and digital twins for cell behavior simulation

Job description:

The selected researcher will join a multidisciplinary environment in the Applied Mechanics and Bioengineering group (AMB) and in the group of Fluid Dynamic Technologies (TFD) of the I3A. The candidate will develop the tasks of a multidisciplinary national project financed by the State Research Agency for a 3-year period. The main objective of this project is to develop a virtual laboratory and digital twins through numerical modelling to predict the directionality, speed, differentiation, proliferation and morphology of cells, considering the different aspects involved in cell migration when different stimuli (mechanical, thermal, chemical and/or electrical) are applied in the microenvironment in which they are found. The project seeks to use digital technology to simulate and better understand cellular processes and provide useful tools for research in the field of cell biology, tissue and organ regeneration.

Features of the contract offered:

A 3-year contract is offered. After this period, the researcher will have the possibility of being hired by active projects related to his research.
