Integrated circuits for fibre-wireless communications

The overall objective is to design and manufacture basic cells and optical and radio-frequency front-end architectures in nanometric CMOS technology for transceivers intended for radio-over-fibre femtocells, where femtocell is understood as a wireline-wireless access point for WiFi or 5G/6G type transmission. These cells form a distributed antenna network based on low-voltage low-power mmWave electronic techniques for more energy-efficient information transmission.
