This research line focuses on high-efficiency power electronic converters, microelectronic control systems, electromagnetic design, and electromagnetic compatibility analysis. The primary applications for reference and development are induction heating systems in household appliances and consumer electrical equipment. Other applications or extensions of this research line are also being explored, such as induction heating systems for biomedical applications, in conjunction with another research line within the group.
Publicly funded research projects are carried out, and also privately funded with companies (mainly with BSH Home Appliances Group).
